Selecting the right editor can be overwhelming, and we understand that prospective clients have questions. We hope you will find some answers below–and if you don’t, please reach out to us for more information. We’re here to help.

What is “turnaround time” (TAT)?

Turnaround time refers to the period of time between receipt of your document and when it is completed and returned to you. Our current TAT is 1-3 days. If your document must be ready by a specific date, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you in the queue.

 

Will my work be kept confidential?

We keep all documents and client communication 100% confidential. Your work and commentary will only be shared on our site with your express permission.

Can you write my paper for me?

We will not write a paper for you from scratch. We will, of course, fully rewrite content as necessary if you request developmental editing.

Will you check my work for plagiarism?

We do not use plagiarism checkers or similar fact-checking services when revising. The integrity of your writing is your responsibility; please ensure that all work submitted is your own and cited accordingly. We cannot be held accountable for work that is improperly cited or factually inaccurate.

What if I’m not satisfied with your revisions? 

Our editing process is interactive. When we send you a revised draft, you're always welcome to ask questions, offer feedback, and suggest places where we should continue to revise. You can also insert comments directly into a draft to which we'll respond.

 

When do I pay?

Payment is due when you submit your paper to us.

How do I pay?

We prefer PayPal because of its accessibility and ease of use for domestic and international customers. Please contact us if you would like to pay via a method other than PayPal; we’re happy to work with you.
